ABOUT FIRST
We are proud to be part of FIRST®, the organization that creates and runs the FIRST Tech Challenge and brings teams from around the world together through the excitement of robotics. FIRST provides the structure, challenges, tournaments, and events that make it possible for teams like Rockin’ Robos to compete, learn, and grow throughout the season. Through FTC, we have the opportunity to design, build, program, test, and improve our robot while working together as a team. Each competition gives us a chance to put our skills to the test, face new challenges, and learn from both our successes and our mistakes. We also get to meet other robotics teams, see different robot designs, exchange ideas, and experience the teamwork and excitement that make FTC special. Beyond building robots, FIRST encourages students to develop skills in engineering, programming, problem-solving, communication, creativity, leadership, and collaboration. The program challenges us to think outside the box and find solutions when something does not work the way we expected. Being part of FTC also teaches us that robotics is not just about the robot itself—it is about the people behind it, the teamwork that makes everything possible, and the lessons we learn along the way. We are excited to continue competing, improving our robot, and taking on new challenges throughout our season. Rockin’ Robos is proud to be part of the FIRST community, and we look forward to everything this robotics journey has in store for us!

Get to know the people behind Rocking Robos. From building and programming to strategy, design, and outreach, every team member brings unique skills and ideas to our team. Together, we work as one team to design, build, and improve our robot while learning, competing, and having fun along the way.
I’m Saharsh, a student at Churchill and a member of an FTC robotics team, where I enjoy building robots, programming, and solving problems with my teammates. Outside of robotics, I enjoy playing cricket and chess, practicing Taekwondo, and learning about technology and engineering. I love trying new ideas and hope to continue exploring robotics and technology in the future. 
I’m Rey and I am 7th grader at Western Sierra Collegiate Academy (WSCA). I like playing video games, learning about technology and outdoor soccer. I also enjoy building robots and working on cool projects. In the future, I hope to do something amazing with technology and AI. 
I’m Deeksha, an enthusiastic 8th grader who brings confidence, leadership, and positive energy to the FTC team. A great team player, loves collaboration, solving problems, and taking on new challenges. My happy-go-lucky personality and can-do attitude makes me a wonderful teammate both on and off the field! 
My name is Vaishnav Bachina, and I am a 7th grader at Winston Churchill Middle School. Having participated in FLL for 7 years, I am very excited to begin my FTC journey. I am naturally curious, eager to learn, and aspire to be an astrophysicist in the future. In my free time, I enjoy playing sports and video games. 
I’m Srithan Gumma, an eighth grader at Rocklin Academy Gateway. My hobbies include playing music, video games, basketball, and, of course, robotics. I’m interested in coding, programming, and tinkering, which I’ve developed through my experience with FLL. Now, I want to take my skills further by joining FTC. I’m excited to learn new things, build robots, solve problems, and work as part of a team. 
My name is Anay Agarwal, and I am a 6th grader on an FTC robotics team. I have been involved in FIRST for 5 years, with 3 years of Explore and 2 years of Challenge. When I grow up, I would like to become a doctor. In my free time, I enjoy reading books and playing video games. 
I’m Laasya Gottipati! 7th grader at WCMS and part of our FTC robotics team. I like the mix of building robots, writing code, and solving hard problems — this year I can’t wait to learn even more.

Step by step we improve
The Day We Saw It.
The day we saw it was the moment our idea started becoming a real robot. We gathered as a team to unpack the parts, organize everything, and begin putting the first pieces together. Everyone had a role, and we worked together to figure out how each part would fit into our design. It was exciting to finally see our ideas turn into something we could build, test, and improve.
